Inter house debate competition

Ranchi, Jharkhand  | December  | 06, 2023 :: .An inter house debate competition was organised in the Angels’ world school and learning centre, main road, Ranchi. the students battle with their wits on 6th December 2023, where  there were 2 teams (qualified  for final round)Sapphire house and Topaz house. The theme for the house was ‘The government should lower the voting age to 16’. Sapphire house  had to express their opinion on the motion , the participants were eram perween, mashirah Fatima, Sarah tanweer and Asad ahmad and Topaz house were against the motion, the participants were zunaira amber,  iqra  eram and Md Reyan. With so much intensity in the air, the competition began with a two panel jury. The judges included teachers, miss shehbal jawed and Mohammad Sajid. Both houses, with each students trying to put a strong arguments with clever perspective being wielded, where the points ranged from how much politically aware, mature, sensible, adolescent population can actively participate in the political process of the country to   how inactive and politics is not a cup of tea for the teenagers at such young age. The winner in this category were   Topaz house ,against the motion ,MD Reyan of  Topaz house beat the competition and stood first against the motion. And Eram  perween  put the best argument for the motion. The day was impactful and left not just the student but also the teachers with much to think about. It was hailed a success and has set  the bar high  for the students in the upcoming events.
