MoU Signed between Amity University Jharkhand and OPPO Mobiles India Pvt. Ltd.

Ranchi, 12/01/2024: In keeping with the vision and mission of the Honourable Founder-President & Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand, the University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OPPO Mobiles India Pvt. Ltd. on January 12th, 2024. The signing ceremony took place in the factory premises of OPPO Mobiles India Pvt. Ltd. in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

For the signing ceremony, Dr. Ashok K. Shrivastava, Vice Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand, Mr. Gauravh Gupta, Vice President of Amity Education Group, and Dr. Kasturi Sahay, Head of the Institution of Amity School of Business, represented Amity University Jharkhand. OPPO Mobiles Group was represented by Mr. Vivek Vasishtha, Vice President of Public Affairs and Ms. Anuka Kumar, CSR Head.

Esteemed dignitaries, Dr. Budha Chandrashekhar - the Chief Coordinating Officer of AICTE attended the ceremony. The event was attended by delegates from the PhD Chamber of Commerce and the CXOs from top corporate houses.

Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, the Vice Chancellor of Amity University Jharkhand, talked about his long-standing partnership with industry and academia for the betterment of the youth and the state of Jharkhand. He emphasized that this collaboration would be instrumental in bringing about significant environmental changes both in Jharkhand and society as a whole. He expressed his delight in partnering with OPPO Mobiles India Pvt. Ltd. and starting the initiative to revolutionize the state's environment.

Amity University Jharkhand has made an impressive start to the year with a resolute commitment to engage in numerous academic and business initiatives that will effectively contribute to the growth and development of society. This MoU is targeted to spread awareness about E-Waste Management to the people of Jharkhand. Also, a National Level Idea Competition is proposed to be organized for the youth to ignite the spirit of innovation and creativity in them.
