Slum children smile as 'Pankhuri' reach them

Ranchi: Twenty pupils from the city slum Hatma basti participated in a painting competition today organized by the social organization Pankhuri.
Students between the ages of five and eight demonstrated their artistic abilities using a paintbrush on a white sheet of paper, focusing on subjects such as environmental protection and natural surroundings, in the painting competition.  
When stationary and candies were given out, the recipients' faces lit up. In front of dignitaries Saurabh Ambastha and Sanjeevj Vijayavargia, they sung the national anthem.
Later on, elderly people received blankets.
Together with other members, Pankhuri Chairperson Arti Sahuliyar inaugurated the news letter (REACHOUT VOLUME 3).
Members of the Pankhuri Joint Secretary Sushil Kumar Srivastawa, Vice President Rajesh Raj Ravi, Treasurer Hazel Davis, and Deputy Secretary Sangeeta Chitlangia were present on this particular occasion.
