Amity University Jharkhand conducts Phase one survey for Unnat Bharat Abhiyan


Ranchi, Jharkhand  | May | 13, 2023 :: 
Two teams of faculty members and students conducted the Phase 1 survey in Namkum block and Gamhariya village of Khunti under the esteemed initiative, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan on 13th May 2023 with the blessings of Amity University 
Jharkhand’s Revered Honourable Founder President, Revered President & Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand. The survey aims to identify and address the challenges faced by the rural population and work towards sustainable growth and inclusive development.
Sr. Vice President of Amity Education Group, Mr. U. Ramachandran, and Mr. Gauravh Gupta, Vice President, Amity Education Group conveyed their best wishes to the students and faculty members. 

Dr. Ashok K. Srivastava, Pro Vice Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand expressed his good wishes to the students and faculty members. 
Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, a national project launched by the Government of India, fosters synergy between higher educational institutions and rural communities. Its overarching objective is to empower academic institutions to engage with rural India in identifying development hurdles and devising appropriate solutions to accelerate progress. By bridging the gap between academia and society, this initiative promotes knowledge exchange, professional growth, and capacity building to meet the evolving needs of the rural communities.
The survey conducted by Amity University Jharkhand in Namkum block and Gamhariya village, Khunti signified a significant step towards the fulfillment of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan's mission. Through this step, the university endeavored to foster a virtuous cycle of knowledge dissemination, skill enhancement, and societal advancement. The focus was on leveraging the collective expertise and resources of the university faculty and students to contribute meaningfully to the holistic development of the mentioned rural areas.
