Amity University Jharkhand Signed MOU with ICFRE - Institute of Forest Productivity Ranchi

 Moving forward with the vision and mission of Amity University Jharkhand’s Founder President & Chancellor, Amity University Jharkhand (AUJ) and Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) - Institute of Forest Productivity (IFP) Ranchi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), on 22nd June 2023. The aim of this MoU is t¬o promote academic and research collaboration in area of forestry science, in a first-of-its-kind effort. It will develop, upscale, and disseminate cutting edge technologies to public through innovative extension strategies and capacity building programmes.

The MOU signed by Mr. Prabhakar Tripathi, Registrar Amity University Jharkhand and Dr. Yogeshwar Mishra, Director ICFRE-IFP in presence of Dr. Vikas Misra, Director, Dr. Ajay Mahalka from Amity University Jharkhand, and Smt. Anjana Suchita Tirkey, IFS, Dr. Aditya Kumar, Scientist-E from ICFRE-IFP.

The MoU opens new unexplored avenues of opportunity for Amity University Jharkhand and ICFRE-IFP for collaborative education program, capacity building & joint research projects which will promote scientific and sustainable management of forest resources. MoU will enhance exchange of students for academic, research and training purposes. The MoU focused on improving and value-based interventions to increase access, and to successfully implement national forest and environment programme, reducing inequity and improving quality of environment. The MoU will allow to work on Herbal plants, Genetics of Plant, and forest management in favor of Jharkhand.
