A three day Management Development Programme (MDP) at XISS

Ranchi, Jharkhand | March | Monday | 07, 2016 :: A three day Management Development Programme (MDP) was organized at XISS on 7^th -9^th February 2016, for Power Grid senior Executives, representing different power grid offices from across the country, began today at XISS, Ranchi, by the MDP team of the institute supported by the Assistant Director Fr. Ranjit . The participants of the programme represented the entire length and breadth of the country ranging from Leh and Kargil in J&K to Chennai in South India and from Guwahati in Assam to Baroda in Gujarat This MDP was considered very important by the participants keeping in mind : “ CSR: Strategies to create Business and social Values”.

Senior Official Anjan Sanyal , Chief manager HR & CSR is the course coordinator from the organisation . Prof. Ignatius Xaxa, Prof. Mary Bodra and Prof. Pinaki Ghosh are the MDP coordinators  who have ensured good beginning of the programme .

The Programme is aimed at developing insight , through cases and discussion of the participation who are engaged in CSR for their organisation in different capacities . Resource persons, both from within XISS and Power Grid delivered today. Dr. K K Bhagat, Prof. Pinaki Ghosh and Dr. Himadri Sinha  from XISS and Mr. Anjan Sanyal from Power Grid were the presenter today.

Tomorrow, 8^th of February 2016  ,external experts in the areas of different CSR certification will engage all the following session which will include Conceiving and implementing a model CSR project, by the participant. And the final day will have Case Study and Experience sharing by a company, including visit to nearby areas where participants can get firsthand experience of practices in community development and CSR based activities like livelihood, Health, Hygiene,Education by locally based company  and the followed by Feedback and Valedictory
